Silver Star Animal Hospital was founded in 1987 by Dr. Wise and Dr. Jones, and quickly developed a reputation for delivering excellent veterinary care for cats and dogs. In 2015, Dr. Andrew Choset purchased the hospital, and began a multi-year renovation of the facility. The facility is bright, clean, and welcoming, and we know you and your pets will be comfortable here! We have 3 thoughtfully decorated examination rooms, a “Comfort Room” for consultations and end-of-life care, and a spacious lobby. You will see the same staff and Doctor every time you visit us, unlike some of the bigger corporate-owned clinics.

Dr. Andrew Choset has been in veterinary practice for over 21 years. His undergraduate studies were completed at Cornell University in 2000, and he then enrolled in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Ross University, followed by a year of clinical rotations at the University of Missouri, graduating in 2004. Dr. Choset has spent many years in Emergency and Critical Care medicine, as well as General Practice, and he was a Commissioned Officer with the rank of Captain in the United States Army Veterinary Corps Reserve from 2009 through 2017.
